Openings Around Town
by Cara DeVito & Paul De Angelis
The Carriage Barn Shop at the Elmendorph Inn, which has always sold donated antiques, books, and housewares, is expanding to include gently used clothes and the work of local artisans. The walls of the Shop will sport archival photographs and artifacts and advertisements from the past. Archival music will reverberate through the space. Future plans also include umbrella tables to escape the sun and perhaps sip lemonade and munch on baked goods. Doors reopen on Thursday, June 18 at 11am. Come and glimpse the rich history of the village. Hours: Thur Sun, 11am–6pm. Next to the IGA, Red Hook. (845) 758-5887.
